See three of Tanzania's best parks in just three days. Start with Tarangire's elephant herds and baobab trees, spend a full morning on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, and finish with Lake Manyara's tree-climbing lions and flamingos.
Both nights are spent in Karatu, in the green highlands between the parks, so drives stay short and you get more time watching wildlife. It's the perfect safari if you only have a few days in Arusha.

After an early pickup from your hotel in Arusha, drive about two hours to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day on game drives among ancient baobab trees and some of the largest elephant herds in Tanzania, with lion, giraffe, zebra and rich birdlife along the Tarangire River. Picnic lunch in the park. In the late afternoon, continue to Karatu in the green highlands for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, drive up to the Ngorongoro Crater rim and descend onto the crater floor for a game drive in the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. The crater is home to around 25,000 animals, including the rare black rhino, lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo and flamingos. Picnic lunch on the crater floor, then return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
